Chandelier Transmutation by Thierry Jeannot

The Marion Friedmann Gallery will be hosting another design debut at this year‘s London Design Festival in a pop-up gallery in the Brompton Design District. The Gallery is staging the first London show of the work of Gisela Stiegler from Vienna and Thierry Jeannot from Mexico City.

Both designers work with recycled packaging materials. Stiegler takes waste polystyrene packaging to create magical lamps and sculptures. And Jeannot uses recycled plastic bottles to make chandeliers that look remarkably like blown-glass from Murano.
